I have a yard that is mostly shade -- for several years, I've attempted to grow Tomatoes with limited to no success.The limited success was with using 5 gallon bucket, the first year being the most productive, lots of tomatoes. The following year only a few, last year with ONE! GRRRR.
Well the TV is now pushing spending lots of money to buy a "new breed" of tomato, grown in a hanging basket/bag. I just couldn't justify spending lots of money for something that I could do on my own...so you're all witnesses to my effort to do it "my way" (LOL)
So, here's a picture of my new little tomato plant. I'll post updates as I can through the season.
